VACANCY- FAMILY HEALTH INTERNATIONAL
MEDICAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT
JOB TITLE: ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, MEDICAL SERVICES (HIV/AIDS CARE AND TREATMENT) ABUJA
REQUIREMENTS
• MBBS with 7 yrs post national youth service clinical experience and a min of 5 yrs experience in care ,treatment and support for HIV/AIDS management,2 of which must be in a donor-funded HIV care, treatment and support program
• Postgraduate (fellowship or doctorate) degree in a relevant discipline(internal medicine, paediatrics, or public health)
• Familiarity with the Nigerian public sector health system, donor agencies, NGOs and CBOs
JOB TITLE: ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, MEDICAL SERVICES (TB, MALARIA, CVD AND NCD)
REQUIREMENTS
• MBBS with 7 yrs post national youth service clinical experience and a min of 5 yrs experience in care , treatment and support for TB, HIV/AIDS, malaria, and cardiovascular diseases.
• Postgraduate(fellowship or doctorate) degree in a relevant discipline(internal medicine, paediatrics, or public health)
• Familiarity with the Nigerian public sector health system, donor agencies, NGOs and CBOs
JOB TITLE: SENIOR ADVISOR, PUBLIC HEALTH/PMTCT
REQUIREMENTS
• MBBS degree with at least 5 yrs post NYSC experience which must include at least 4 yrs in RH/PMTCT and HIV programs
• Experience in managing and implementing RH/PMTCT programs and developing collaborative relationships and liaising with community leaders and donors
• Knowledge of health programs in developing countries and familiarity with the Nigerian public sector health system , donor agencies, NGOs and CBOs
• Ability to understand a full range of issues around RH/PMTCT programming and develop projects with appropriate linkages and evaluation strategies
JOB TITLE: CLINICAL SERVICE OFFICER
REQUIREMENTS
• MBBS degree with at least 1-3 yrs experience in relevant areas of health
• Experience in project development ,proven experience in the planning and facilitation of training and excellent communication and computer skills
• Experience in developing collaborative relationships and liasing with senior level govt officials, community leaders and donors
• Familiarity with the Nigerian public sector health system, NGOs and CBOs
• Post graduate degree in any related field as an added advantage
MONITORING AND EVALUATION DEPT (ABUJA)
JOB TITLE: SENIOR MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER (HAST)
REQUIREMENTS
• MPH, MD or similar degree in monitoring and evaluation, medical statistics, or related field(a bachelors degree with additional experience will be considered)
• Min of 5 yrs experience including 3-5 yrs experience in monitoring and evaluation in reproductive health or HIV/AIDS programs in developing countries
• Sound knowledge of statistics
• Experience working with local partners including local NGOs and CBOs and knowledge of the local context
• Familiarity with USAID programs is preferred
JOB TITLE: BIOSTATISTICIAN
REQUIREMENTS
• Medical doctor/pharmacist with MPH or M.SC in Epidemiology, Biostatistics or related postgraduate degree with 3-5 yrs relevant experience
• 2 yrs experience using STATA for data management and analysis in reproductive health or HIV/AIDS programs in developing countries
• Experience working with local partners including NGOs or CBOs and knowledge of the local context
• Familiarity with USAID programs is preferred
JOB TITLE: GIS OFFICER
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelors degree in a related discipline with a min of 5-7 yrs relevant experience or masters degree in with 3-5 yrs experience
• Min of 2 yrs GIS work experience and 1-3 yrs experience in HIV/AIDS programming
• Experience working with NGOs and CBOs
• Experience in the production of maps and graphics using GIS systems Arc GIS 9.x and Arc Explorer
• Working knowledge of relational databases
• Postgraduate degree in a related GIS discipline is an advantage
LABORATORY SERVICES DEPT (EDO, ANAMBRA,TARABA AND FCT)
JOB TITLE: SENIOR LABORATORY OFFICER
REQUIREMENTS
• Masters degree in Laboratory Sciences or related field with 5-7 yrs post nysc lab work experience including a min of 3 yrs experience in HIV/AIDS care and treatment at the clinic level
• Experience in PCR techniques and laboratory TB activity is an advantage
• Experience in international development work and certification of license to practice as a medical laboratory scientists are preferred
• Knowledge of the Nigerian public sector health system , NGOs and CBOs is an advantage
SHARED SERVICES DEPT (KANO)
JOB TITLE: SENIOR FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
REQUIREMENTS
• Masters degree in Accounting ,Finance, or Business Admin or its recognized equivalent with at least 8-10 yrs experience
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and computer (Excel and spreadsheet skills)
• CPA, ACA, ICAN or recognized equivalent
• Experience in managing financial records of donor-funded org, and familiarity with donor and Nigerian non-governmental contractual procedures
• Relevant higher degree and professional qualification will enhance applicants chances
